The concept of inner space has captivated me for a long time, and I chose the form of cups to symbolize it in my recent work. Containing what already happened and will happen, it represents man’s invisible mind; desire for control and possession, memories, and wishful thoughts. I felt it was necessary to find a medium for inner healing as more human beings become isolated in this modern, anxiety-driven society of exhaustion. With aspirations for recovery, I softly suggest that we look again but closely at: to give, and take care of the time and being we live in.
